Last night was Buri-chan's birthday party, went out with her and Kara and a bunch of girls from the dorm to a really nice bar where we had a private room with karaoke. Got there at around 10 pm, stayed there until 1, after which we went Karaoke, where we stayed until 5 am, at which time we walked home to the dorm where the gates opened at a little before 6. It was a lot of fun, and I actually managed to stay up the whole time. I hadn't hung out that much with most of the girls that came, since they were pretty much all from Buri's floor, but I basically knew them, and they were all very nice. I especially adore Hoshimi, who is just what you would picture from the name 'hoshimi', so cute and soft and round and nice, with her love of Namie (we sung a couple Amuro songs together), and rap (she's pretty good!), and how she got so into it all, dancing wildly around and head-banging etc, she's so much fun. It was the first time I've ever stayed out all night, and it was a lot of fun. As for staying awake, I just didn't look at my watch so I never knew what time it was. It was also very cool walking home so early in the morning, in the soft gray morning light, the streets deserted except for the straggling teens, and occasional business man. I felt a bit jet-lagged though.
Then I slept until 1:30 in the afternoon, and then spent a leisurely (sp?) afternoon reading my new manga find, 'kimi ha Pet' which I borrowed from Kiwa, and OotP, which I'm now rereading.
Speaking of OotP, The Death devestated me, That Person was my favorite charecter, I screamed at the book 'Noooo!!' 'You can't die, you can't!!' and such, and almost cried, although I didn't. But then I spent the entire evening in a state of shock, wandering around, dull and listless and depressed.
As for the book as a whole, there was so much it's hard to digest, but I liked it. So much of it. The Twins roxor! And I was very pleased to find that Sirius/Lupin is sooo canon! (they were so a couple in this book!) Ginny is pretty cool now, also. But I kind of have a feeling she may end up with Harry in the end...
