Yay! I finally have a Sailor Suit!! My beloved Sailor Suit that I've wanted for 9 years! It's perfect, even though the shirt is navy and not white. It's just...so perfect! The only bad thing is that I have to give it back to Kurata-san after the live. But I will buy my own! I must own one! Speaking of sailor suits, they are hot and kick ass, and Anna-san is hot and kicks ass, but never the twain shall meet....or so I thought until today. But that, my friends, is for the end of my report. Now, lessons started with my aquiring the sailor suit from Kurata-san, and the Love Junx Tee Shirt for the Ending from 'uchi no okaasan'. The Love Junx T-shirts are blue, with a stylized LJ on the front, and on the back they say (in English) 'We are the members of the Love Junx. We dance to bring down the walls that stand in front of us and between our loved ones.' Then exercise began with a joke from Namio-kun, to which Anna-san lefted and said 'Uso, uso!' (Not true). Exercises were led by Namio-kun and Atsushi-kun, and sort of but not really by Yuuta who was doing his exercises at the far end of the room. Anna-san was talking to some woman in glasses who was writing on a pad of paper. And Anna-san continued to talk to this woman for over half the lesson. Consequently, today's lesson was run by the Yuuta, Atsushi and Namio, who I shall now call the Boys of Zin-Rye (otherwise know as 3/4 of said group). Anna-san was dressed in a red tan top and tan workout pants with were gathered at the ankles. It was the first time I had seen her in red (which she looks quite good in), and also the first time (I think?) I'd seen her in long pants during lessons. No one seemed to know who the woman was, either a reporter or some person having to do with the Live, but we wished that she would have come at a time that was not during our lessons. Anyway, since Yuuta-kun and Atsushi and Namio instructed our lessons, I had time to observe them closely, so I will give their Fashion check. Yuuta was wearing a white wife-beater shirt that showed much of his chest (plus his tatoo), and a black bandanna (but only for part if it). He is insanely skinny, and has an hour glass figure. It is strange. He is so the uke. He also has three holes in his ear (in one of which was a dangly earring), and had a silver feathe pendant necklace on. Atsushi was wearing a black tee-shirt with Gothic writing on the sleeve. Eventually I figured out that it said 'Yuuta, Tsubasa, Atsushi, Takeshi, Takuro' in other words it was a T-shirt for the B.B WAVES Boys. I wonder if that's where Yuuta got his tatoo from, cuz it was written just like it, in all capitals, in Gothic font. Oh, Atsushi was also wearing a baseball cap, at an angle. I think Namio had on a red t-shirt (sorry Namio-kun ^^;) The Boys first had us go through Run DMC. Then Namio valiantly asked us if we had any thoughts about it. Someone suggested that they didn:t knw the group dance parts that well. Namio said that we didn:t have time to do them all out, so please pratice on our own. ^^; Then we were going to go through the whole thing (just the enterances and exits for the group dances) but it turned out no one know their positions for House of Love, so Namio announced quickly that there was a change of plans and we would now watch eachother's groups dances. So everyone did their group dances. I felt kind of bad for the Boys, because we must all be so pathetic and incompetant to them, who are used to professional and capable BB concert rehearsals. Oh well. ‚`bit before the group dances were finished, Anna-san and the woman finally finished talking, and she came and helped us with the positions for House of Love, and so we did the dance. Then we had a break. Then, she handed out lyrics sheet for the song that we'll be singing (Yay, singing!) at the Ending, which is UNITED, an original B.B WAVES song. So then we sang a long with the tape. It was a lot of fun. Only I got so into singing/ looking at the lyrics that I didn't get to watch Anna-san. She was singing to though, and doing a little dance. Then class was over. But we all stayed to watch Anna-san try on her sailor suit which Kurata-san handed to her. She looked really cute! Only Anna-san could be 31 and still basically pull off a Sailor Suit. She seemed to be having a lot of fun. She joked, 'I'm gonna come to the Live in this.' and then raised her arms and said 'Reha hajimarimasu!' (We're going to start rehearsal now!) It was very funny, her in the Sailor Suit, instructing. We all laughed. She said that she had never worn a Sailor Suit before, 'And Neither have you either, right A-chan?' I agreed and said that I had always wanted to. Because class went over a bit, what with Anna-san:s Sailor Suit and what not, we missed the bus to the station, so we had to wait for the next bus, which didn't come for like 40 minutes. I sat down, and then Uchi no Okasan came and sat down next to me. She asked me how late it usually was when I got home, and I told her it wasd usually about 10:30 PM. She said 'Oh, so you get home about the same time as us.' (Meaning Anna-san and her). I asked, 'Oh, where do you live?' and she said 'Umegao in Setagaya.' Which cinced it. That and the fact that when one of the guys had told her something she'd asked 'Have you asked Anna about it?' No -san. She's the only person in the world that I've ever heard call Anna-san 'Anna'. Which, combined with the fact that she and Anna-san apparently live together, that Anna-san's 'uchi no okaasan' was literal, and she is in fact Anna-san's actual mother. (Which could be, because her mom and dad got divorced when she was a baby -she was raised by her dad). Wow. (I tried to see if the woman looks like Anna-san, but Anna-san looks too much exactly like Makino-sensei, it was impossible to tell). Anyway, as for my thoughts on this revelation (After 'Wow, that means I'm sitting next to Anna-san's mother!'): 'Anna-san, if you live with your mother (esp. when your 31) you're never going to get a boyfriend. Not that I want you to. But you couldn't be with me either.' (These were my immediate thoughts. As I was on the train home they degenerated into something along the lines of ' Imagine taking her to the dorm! No...we'd have to go to a f--king love hotel!', which brought home to me the absolute and complete 'no possiblity of any of that EVER happening!'. ) Anyway, a bit later on, Anna-san, in a black net sweatshirt and jeans (which were black pants from the back) came and sat next to me (yay!) as her mother moved over. On the way over she smiled her brilliant smile at me. She was soon joined by the Boys, who all had hats on. Yuuta had a flat toped Frank Sinatra kind of hat, Atsushi had his baseball cap, and Namio had on a paperboy cap. They commenced to talk with Anna-san about lessons for tomorrow (only Pop, start at 10) and then they talked about the Zin-Rye portion of the Live. Namio needed to borrow a disc man (apparently to show Anna-san his song he'd do), and so I lent mine. When I said I had one he said 'Oh, sasuga'. (Should have known.) and took it happily. He saw the MAX sticker on it and asked me if I liked MAX. I said I did. He asked who I liked and I said Li-chan. He paused for a moment and then pointed to her. I nodded. He said 'You know, I was thinking of joining MAX at one point'. I laughed. Then he put in his CD, and let Anna-san listen to the song. (Yay, Anna-san wore my headphones!). She asked if he could bring it to practice. He agreed, asking if he could make it into a tape. She said 'Dame'. I turned to look at her. Namio-kun said 'Ooh, see she's suprised!' And Anna-san laughed and said I wasn't. He said to me 'Yes you were, right?'. Then Yuuta asked about Maiko-san:s song. He called her Maiko-neechan, which was so cute! (Back in Actor's, people used to call the girls that were older than them -neechan. For example, SPEED used to call Namie Namie-neechan, in the very beginning Li-chan called Nana-san Nanako-neechan, etc). Anna-san said that they hadn't made the final decision, and Namio said something about her having a song made, and asked if she wouldn't sing if that song wasn't finished. Annas-an said that no, Maiko would sing something else then. It was kind of confusing to me, being not on the know, but at least it means Maiko-san will sing. On the bus back I sat across from Anna-san and her mother, and I watched Anna-san, who sometimes looked at me and smiled or laughed with me at Namio's jokes, who was teasing/ joking with the chuugakusei. I wished that she had talked to me though. One of Namio's jokes was about pierced ears. He decided to translate it into English. 'Ear....how do you say...'ana'...he looked to me, and Anna-san, but she didn't tell him. 'hole!' He said finally. 'Ear Hole in Summer!' I laughed Anna-san (I think) said 'See, your jokes translate to English too.' (It may have been Namio who said it). Later Namio made some joke about the chugakusei have to go to high school, and then work. And I said 'what about college?', and he said 'JApanese colleges suck. They just teach you education. They don't have any heart.' He repeared in English, 'No heart.' I should have known not to talk to a (former) Actor's student about school/the Japanese education system. LOL
Yesterday I went to see Gackt's movie, Moon Child. Or should I say Gackt and HYDE's movie, since HYDE has as much as starring role as Gackt. It was great. I really liked it. Both Gackt and HYDE are great actors, although of course they had their rare weak moments. It's hard to imagine Gackt acting from what you see of him on TV and whatnot, the mysterious, blankfaced unemotional deep-voiced Mystery HeartThrob (?). But for the most part I actually thought of him as his character (Shou) and not as Gackt. Shou as a character was completely different from Gackt - he was childish playful, and hot-tempered, and very emotionally volatile. Also, Gackt's voice sounded completely different for most of the movie, it was....well...normal-sounded - until the end, when his character had grown up and was an adult, when he returned a bit to the deep rumbly Gackt voice. As for HYDE, I totally love HYDE now! I've been a bit partial to him since the voice-melody cell phone commercial with him started playing, because he's so adorable and petulant pretty-badboy bishonen in it. But he was so cool in the movie! His character, Kei, is a vampire, which of course would have done it for me all on it's own, but his character was just so cool and sacastic sense of humor, twisted sense of fun vampire-detached,with a nice been of angst as well. Plus, HYDE is very hot. He is so cute, in his little badboy bishonen way. He is tiny! Really short, and really thin, and he looked so gorgeously effeminate in his leather pants and skin tight colorful patterned net shirts and whatnot. Plus he has a great face for a vampire, because it's so young and boyish. I loved Kei and Shou's friendship too. My fav. part of the movie was in the beginning when there's this big fight scene, and Shou is fighting it out, while Kei is smoking and telling him what direction the people/bullets are coming from. Shou says, 'Why aren't you fighting too?' and Kei just puts his cigarette in Shou's mouth, and then Shou goes back to fighting and Kei lights a new cigarette for himself. (Speaking of which, this movie is horrible in terms of 'making smoking look cool'. I think that Gackt and/or HYDE are smoking in almost every scene. LOL And doing things like giving each other the cigarette they've been smoking, and spitting their cigarettes on the ground etc. (there's this one scene where Kei is smoking, and some dude comes up to try to kill him, so he spits his cigarette out and kill the dude, and then tries to light up again, but his lighter is broken, so he spits that one out too). I'm seriously suprised that Shou didn't die of lung cancer. LOL) Another cool thing about the movie is that it was a tri-ligual movie. I'd say that they spoke just as much Chinese as Japanese, maybe even more. Which was pretty amazing, because they all played bilingual characters really well. (I vaguely remember reading that Gackt is fluent in Chinese, BTW) There was also a tiny bit of English. (Gackt's longest English line, to the Gaijin dude complaining that there was no ninja's in Japan. 'I'll make you a fucking ninja then.')
