Today I hurried to get to class, because I had brought the omiyage from Kyoto for everyone, and I wanted to give it to Anna-san before she got too busy. I actually ended up being early, for the first time ever, maybe, despite the fact that my train was 3 minutes late. I met some of my classmates in the hall, and together we stood outside, watching the pop class. It was my first time to see the pop class in action. It looked like they were having a lot of fun. From what I could see, it seemed like they were basically just doing Beat. Anna-san also looked like she was having a ton of fun, dancing around with the kids. She cut her hair, and it is now short, a layered chin legnth bob. The ends kind of flip up alittle, and she looks really cute. Today she had on her tight tank top thing and loose olive pants gathered at her calves. Once again I noticed what a nice figure she has. She has such a nice hour glass shape to her waist, and once again her chest is very nice, and I think above average for a Japanese woman. Not to say that she has big breasts though. Just that she actually has breasts at all. LOL (Sorry Japanese women). Today Maiko-san was not here though. That was kind of sad, but it was ok, cuz Anna-san was still there. There was one new girl, who hadn't come in a veru long time apparently, and everyone said Hisashiburi! and fawned over her, including Anna-san. Ok, so they didn't really fawn over her. They just talked to her. ^^;; Then I gave Anna-san the omiyage and told her it was for the class. She smiled and thanked me and said she 'd announce it at the end of class. Tomoko-san came who laughed and said that Anna-sa would probably forget, because she forgot stuff a lot. Anna-san laughed and admited that she did. After exercises, we did the House of Love dance. First Anna-san told people who had never done the dance before to raise their hands. It was me, the new-old girl and one of the obasans. Anna-san had us come over to the side. But then she decided that she would just teach us all slowly (I think because there weren't any other instructors today, so she couldn't spliyt people up into groups), and she apoligized for making us go over to the wall. LOL She put us all in Group 2 (she touched my arm and led me over to them). I had Marilyn help with with the hand movements for the dance. After that we had a break. Anna-san talked to Marilyn and some other girl about idols, and their lyrics and chuugakusei and their parents. I could only really catch some words here and there. During the other break people stretched and practiced, while Anna-san sat in a split, smiling. LOL Then we did the first dance I learned. One of the obasan's let me be her partner, and we talked a bit. They're a lot of fun. We all practiced the one part where we have to link hands a lot, because we keep bumping into each other. Anna-san had us all chose our pose for the posing part, and told us to be hip-hop like, and not half-heartedly. LOL Then I talked to the obasan and Midoriko about the fact that we don't really know how to be hip-hop like. After class the obasan told me that she had talked to Anna-san about it, and she was going to bring us in a hip-hop video to watch. After we did the dance many times, Anna-san told us all to sit down. She sat down too. She told us that the deadline for signing up to be in the live in June was the end of March, and asked us all to sign up if we wanted to be in it. She also said that right now only about half the seats are filled, so she asked us to please try to get people we knew to come to the live. She warned us that if there were people that didn't practice enough, or weren't caught up, then they could be cut. If someone wasn't really caught up, but it still came across to her that they were trying really hard ('Koitsu, Ganbatteru naaa') then they wouldn't be cut, but if she thought someone was just slacking off and doing a half assed job of things, they she would cut them. She explained that since many of the Pop Class may not be able to be in the live, if there are too many Hyper, then Hyper will overwhelm the Pop Class, and if they were overwhelmed by people that weren't trying, then she would feel really bad for the kids in the Pop Class. At least, that's basically what she said. It was kind of confusing to me. But she looked sad when she talked about feeling bad for the Pop Class if that happened, and bowed, asking us to please understand. I felt pretty cool and B.B like, sitting with Anna-san, and having her explain stuff about our live. Only I kind of felt like a poser B.B, because I'm not talented like they are. LOL Then class was over. Tomoko-san told me and Midoriko that for the group daance part she had been in the group with the younger college girls (including the one in red who I like, who's name turns out to be Ai), but that their schedules didn't match, and so she wondered if we would be a group with her. I asked if it was okay for me to be in the live, and she said 'Please do!!'. So I signed up. We thought that Anna-san had forgotten about the omiyage, but then she announced that A-chan had brought everyone an omiyage from Kyoto. The box after ebing 'fought' over by the obasan's stayed on the table until at Tomoko-san's urgings I opened it myself and passed them out to everyone, saying 'Douzo'. Then I went over to where Anna-san was talking to Marilyn, and gave them some. I told Anna-san I would give her the res that was left over, but she explained tjat she was on a diet, so I should give them to the other students. I ended up bringing them home with me. I'll pass them out again at class on Sunday I guess. I was suprised to hear that Anna-san is on a diet. Especially because she said a couple weeks ago that she didn't want to lose weight, just tone up. I think she's perfect how she is. This whole signing up for the concert thing has put a lot of pressure on me. At this rate, there's no way I can be in the live. I need to do an insane amount of practice, and get the steps in my body, and not look like a total idiot, and stand out any more than I already do, being the only gaijin. I need to get serious about this. Because I don't want to be cut by Anna-san, and most of all, I don't want to be one of the selfish people who wants to be int he live even though they suck, regardless of the poor Kawaisou Pop Class kids, and make Anna-san sad.

Yesterday was night out with the girls 2, but it was with the ryugakusei. We all hugged happily when we met, as if we hadn't seen each other in a long time. Although, I guess we hadn't, considering we saw eachother almost everyday during orientation. Then we wandered Ikebukuro looking for a cafe. We finally found one inside of Sunshine City. We ate cake and drank tea, and talked about our various Haruyasumi experiences. Caroline told a hilarious story about she and Kara in the Thailand hotel trying to communicate to the blase hotel staff that their was a gecko in their room, and the hotel staff laughing at them when they finally got it across. Buri-chan told us about the Chinese cross-dressers, and the night clubs she went to. Aileen told us about being with her boyfriend, and how much more homesick she was since he had come to visit. Then we started walking back to the eki. This group of boys tried to talk to us, so we went over and asked if we could take their picture. They asked if we were yabai, and if all we wanted was picture. LOL We assured them that we were not at all sketchy, and they suggested taking Puri-kura. So we took Puri-kura with the four random guys, who tried to talk to us about rap. They also told us that normal girls aren't out in Ikebukuro at this time of night, and we would get involved with strange men, and drugs and drinking, etc. LOL It also turned out they were 17. ^^; Then we parted way with Otsukare!s Then we were walking back to the eki (the opposite way, because we had started walking the opposite way by accident, and were too embaressed to turn around). We saw a Namie poster, and at Buri-chan's urging, we went over to take it. Then we heard Dame! and looked over to see the four boys. LOL But then a old man said Douzo! So we took it. Yay, now I have a Namie poster. I explained to the boys who we passed that he had said I could take it. LOL We also passed a group of hosts, who tried to pick up this girl. They did not try to pick us up. LOL
On Tuesday, (Nana-san's 27th birthday!) I had my 2-Fuji reunion. At first I got lost, because Shinjuku-eki sucks and is extremely hard to navigate, so I called Kyoko on her keitai. She told me to head towards the arrow pointing to Kabukicho, and I did. I was still talking on the phone, walking, when I ran into all of them. It was almost surreal, because they all had grown up clothes, and grown up, long dyed hair, but the same faces I'd grown to love during my time at Bunkyo. Some people hadn't really changed at all, like Ai, or Iyo-chan, or Anna-chan. Some I didn't recognize at first, like Marie, Acchan, etc. Marie, btw way, is a total gal now as I would have guessed. She her hair is longer now, and dyed bright blond, and she wore brown color contacts, and a really really short black skirt with flourescent polka-dots on it, and fishnet stockings. Yuu-chan was late, and Reina-chan was later. LOL On the way to the restuarant (which turne dout to be where MArie works part time) I talked with Yuu-chan and Reina-chan about drinking. LOL The restuarant was very nice. We sat at two big tables. I sat in between Kyoko and Midori. We ordered drinks (I ordered a ichigo-miruku along with Kyoko), and our nama-meshi, which is rice and stuff in a pot. They brought us our drinks, and many different hors d'ouvres, like chicken skewers and what not. Kyoko ordered several drinks. She had ichigo-miruku, something else, and sake. When she was pouring the sake in the cups, she was so feminine and geisha-like. She really is very cute and feminine. I would definately have her as a girlfriend, if such were possible. I teased her about drinking a lot, and she shushed me. After a while I felt a little giddy from the ichigo-miruku, and pondered what would happen if I were to kiss, say, Kyoko or Midori. But I didn't, because I wasn't actually drunk. LOL We all chatted about stuff, and took many pictures. I also ordered a cassis-orange, which is what Midori had, and it was very good, although I only had a few sips of it. For part of the time I went over to talk to the other table, and talked to the other Marie about the volley ball teams straight faced peace, and school in the US, not studying etc. Anna-chan was across from me at my table, and she is really pretty. After dinner we were supposed to have a phase two, but most people went home, so the rest of us went and took a purikura. Their was a jute-box which played the music video of the song it was playing, so we watched Suite Chic's 'Uh Uh...' It was very cool! Marie and Mega and I talked about how kawaii Namie was, and Marie thougth she was 22, and was suprised when I told them Namie is 25. Then we all took purikura. Marie had to wait for a friend who got off work at 10 (it was 10:30), so we all went on ahead, with many 'goodnights.' On the way home Kyoko told me how Kabuki-cho is dangerous at night, because there are gangs, and a lot of hostess clubs and kyabakura. She told me that hostesses in Ginza are seen as high class, and whatnot, but the hostess here are really working at the bottom of the barrel. On the train home she said my hair was cute, and fluffed it. So we fluffed her hair and said she was cute, and she said 'Yamete Kudasai!' and got all flustered at us for teasing her. We all parted with promises ot meet again. It was really really great to see everyone again. It was just so comforting and home-y. It make me feel just like I was back in 2-Fuji again.
