Poo, stupid browser erased my text, so now I have to start over again. Ok, so, anyway, the so continues the work of Mina Drew, girl detective. Altho I doubt that Nancy got so worked up with every clue; if she collapsed into helpless sobs everytime she found a clue, she's never solve anything..... So anyway, Hakase-san finally wrote me back. Altho, I guess since the e-mail I got focuses mostly on the article about Anna-san I sent him yesterday, I guess he wrote back pretty fast. He thanked me for the article, and has posted in on Kansai B.B. Here's what he has to say, as to the article's credibility: It certainly does make a nice article, doesn't it? And it doesn't say anything about how [Anna-san] got down on her knees and apologized, or that the staff and current principal got together, and begged President [Makino]. Of course, it is a public channel, so they couldn't write about those things. For that matter, all related messages have been erased from the messages boards. Makino himself talked about firing Anna-san at his seminar. President Makino said that when he pressed the B.B members for answers about the fact that know one followed up on a mistake with the acoustics at 'A LIVE', he realized Anna-san's 'reign'. He told her, 'You're the one that made B.B like this. You're fired. Don't come here again.' Of course, this doesn't really get us much further than before, since of course Makino's story has to be the official one. As for why Anna-san finally felt (is leaving?) Actor's, what Eiji posted on his BBS was straight from her mouth. An interesting fact tho, is that, speaking of which, Hakase-san mentioned that Anna-san had seemed strangly cheerful and relieved to him lately. At the event in Okinawa in April (which would have after she'd been fired, and right before she's moved to Yokohama) she seemed strangly cheerful. So, who knows what that was all about? I guess that she hadn't been fired altogether? Well, anyway, Hakase-sam also recieved an answer from Kurita-san to his long e-mail. Kurita-san said that he showed it to President Nakamura, Anna-san and many of the chief staff. He said 'We all took your words deeply to heart. There have been many others who expressed similiar opinions about what happened in Okinawa, and the BB PLANETS. We all agree that your 'decent adult's sensibilities' are very right. Probably, Actors is heading towards a period of great change now.' (Mina's note: No shit. Anna-san and Maiko-san are gone.) According to Hakase-san, the one good thing is that he doesn't think that the President himself likes this sort of 'situation'. And he thinks the problem is that he's been lifted up by those around him, and so it's become the way it is now. I don't know. All I know is that Makino-sensei fired Anna-san. And that to me, shows that there is something rotten in Denmark.

Ok, well, I guess I feel a little better now. I'm finished having a break down, for now at least. I talked to Mom about the article, and she said that I should really just discount it, because you're never going to get the truth about something like in a newspaper article. They had to make up a nice story about why Anna-san was at Yokohama as a regular instructor. It doesn't mean that the article is lies, but that it not the whole truth. After all, it also gives a different reason as to why Anna-san came back to Okinawa. It says she came back because she realized that if you didn't have outer talent to begin with, it didn't matter how much hard work you put into to it. Which may also be true, but it's not the reason she told me herself when I met her, which was 'I went to the production company, and they told me, 'Sing the way we want you to sing, Dance the way we want you to dance, because we're the ones who are paying you, And I couldn't deal with that, so I left.' But of course she can't say something like that that attacks the entertainment world in the newspaper. Just like she can't say that Makino fired her at first. They need an official story, and I think that's what this article is. That doesn't mean that none of it is true, but that it's not everything that happened. I mean, as Mom pointed out, we know that Makino ordered Anna-san's retirement (i.e fired her), so we know that he didn't like how she was doing things, and that fits. But it doens't say why he didn't like them. There must have been something big, related to the different way he wants to do things now. I mean, after all, she's been an instructor since was 16, if we use the dates from that article. And all of a sudden he decides she hasn't been doing it right? I don't think so. Unless the way he wants it done has changed. Also, Ka-chan and I talked about it all (she's been so helpful to me! Thank you Ka-chan!! *glomp*) and we decided that altho it seems Makino-sensei fired Anna-san because of her 'reign', and and that he didn't like what she was doing, it doens't say why he didn't like them. There must have been something big, related to the different way he wants to do things now. I mean, after all, she's been an instructor since was 16, if we use the dates from that article. And all of a sudden he decides she hasn't been doing it right? I don't think so. Unless the way he wants it done has changed. The loss of what made B.B the B.B that everyone loved (their singing TO the audiance, their availibility, etc.) directly corresponds to Anna's demotion Or, as Ka-chan said... 'I suppose I wasn't thinking about it in the right way, but.. that Anna-san's demotion is the cause of the current state of Actors.. y'know? ;)' Well put, Ka-chan
Ok, things are just getting more and more confusing....Today I found an article about Anna-san, from a newspaper from June. It talked about something interesting things about her past, and then about her coming to the Yokohama School: On March 31, there was an recital in Okinawa Actors School. After the principal, her father had finished watching it, he criticsised it, saying. 'They have no team work, no one is shining inside. Anna, you're the cause of this all.' Looking back, Anna realizes, that the students had be atrophied by herself, reigning the school as chief intructor. 'Go to Yokohama, where there are only 50 students, and go through hardships there.' It was her father who pushed her, but she says, 'I had felt it myself, so I'm glad he told me so plainly.' I just...I can't deal with this....I thought that I'd finally gotten a hold of myself, that I'd finally made some sort of peace with the hold thing, but....
Before all of that happened, I was rereading Maiko-san's post from Anzu-san's page, and the replies people left her. First off, I guess I should post her message here, so I have it as a reference; I don't know why I didn't before. Thank you so much for everything I'm sorry it's so sudden, but I'm posting a message for the first time in a while. As of last month, I have left Okinawa Actor's School. I thought about a lot of things myself, and made the decision to take a step out into the outside. But this was a positive decision. I want to see many different things, and have many different experiences, and sing many different songs. I really love everyone that I met at Actor's! And I'm proud to have been their companion for so long. Everyone is moving ahead, so I'll move forward too, towards this path that I've chosen!! To all of you who've supported until now, Thank you so much. I'll do my best, looking forward to the day when we can meet again. Maiko Takara. And everyone's replies to her are so sweet. Of course I wrote one myself, reading everyone else's, especially those fans, or students who wrote about how meetng her, and her talks with them, and her gentleness and her voice have saved them, cheered them up, gave them courage, made them who they are today...it made me realize that...I've only met Maiko-san twice, and never really talked to her, and if I had the reaction that I had when I heard she'd left, if I broke down and cried the way I did...imagine how it must be for all these people that really knew her on an even more personal level...the fans who've watched her, talked to her for so long....the students who saw her almost everday....imagine how they must be feeling now... If I was touched by her gentleness in the short time I met her, imagine how much they must be, how much she must have effected all of them.... Once again, I only hope that I can become like that...someone who really helps people, just by being there....
I just talked to Dad on the phone, trying to figure out plans for getting me to the Vineyard and what not, and he said that they picked Em up from camp yesterday. He said that she seems to have had the usual emotional, but really good time at Rowe, and that she felt she'd grown a lot in the 3 weeks she'd been there, and had a lot of new ideas about how she wants to be, ect. And, I didn't like hearing that. Not at all. Because it scared me. The fear of her going away somewhere without be, and changing, and being different now. I guess it's the same fear I remember her having when I went to Japan for three months. Of things that may change eachother, wher ethe other one of us can't do anything about it. Because, what if those changes make the other one of us not understand the things we understood before, or share what we shared before? Of course we both have our own lives, and friends, ect, but what if the changes we undergo when we've with them change who we are when we're together? Because I I thought then, what if she doens't understand? About Actor's, and all of what's happening now. This whole time I've thought she would, that she would take it almost as bad as I have, that her reaction to it all, to Makino's firing Anna-san, ect will be the same as, if not greater than everyone else I've told it to, ('WHAT!? Why!?' and 'What the heck!?'). I guess the thing is, I feel that it would have been, for sure, before camp, but that now, it may not be... I guess I just have to trust that what we have, what we share goes beyond surface changes, and that it's deeper than that. That no matter what happens to us, we'll always be sisters....
